Foreign visitor ticket: 500 THB. Entry is free for Thai nationals with valid Thai ID. Children under 120 cm enter free. The ticket includes Wat Phra Kaew and the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles within the palace compound.

Getting there
From BTS Saphan Taksin, take the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Chang (N9). From MRT Sanam Chai Exit 1, continue by local bus or taxi. The palace lists nearby parking, but river and rail connections are usually simpler in the old city.
Accessibility
The official visitor page does not publish a detailed step-free route. The compound is large, exposed and includes thresholds and temple rules; contact the palace before travelling if mobility assistance is essential.
What to wear
Strictly enforced: no sleeveless, cropped or see-through tops; shorts, short skirts, torn or tight trousers and cycling clothing are not permitted. Wear clothing that covers shoulders and legs.
Booking advice
Buy at the official ticket office on the visit date or through the palace's official online booking service. Online tickets can be purchased up to one month ahead and are non-refundable.
