Walk further up the path (approx 600m) to see the stunning "Blue Pool" source, where you can watch water bubble from the sand. Swimming in the Blue Pool is forbidden due to quicksand.

  • Go early or late afternoon to avoid the strongest heat.
  • Carry cash for small fees, toilets, lockers or local transport.
  • Use official ticket counters and check current visitor information.
