Wat Chedi Luang
Constructed in the 14th century, Wat Chedi Luang was once the tallest structure in ancient Chiang Mai and temporarily housed the Emerald Buddha. A massive earthquake in 1545 damaged the top section, leaving the iconic ruined brick structure visible today.
