Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): The Official 2026 Arrival Guide
A practical, source-backed guide to Thailand’s TDAC: who must submit it, when to apply, what information to prepare, and where the official form is found.

Thailand’s Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online arrival form for non-Thai nationals entering Thailand. It replaced the traditional paper arrival card and applies to arrivals by air, land, or sea. The Thai Immigration Bureau user guide (opens in a new tab)↗ says the form is required before entry and should be submitted within the three days before arrival, including the arrival date.
Who needs to submit TDAC?
The official guidance says all foreign nationals entering the Kingdom must complete TDAC online. Thai nationals are not covered by this requirement. Transit passengers who do not pass through immigration are treated differently: the official FAQ (opens in a new tab)↗ says technical landings and transit flights do not require a submission.
When should you complete it?
Submit the form no more than three days before your arrival date. For example, if your arrival is Friday, you can submit during the three-day window that includes Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Do not submit months in advance, and do not confuse the three-day window with a three-day processing period.
What information should you prepare?
Have your passport, travel details, accommodation information in Thailand, email address, and any health information requested by the system ready. The form is completed in English. The Immigration Bureau guide explains that passport-machine-readable-zone data may be scanned or uploaded, but travellers should recheck every field against the passport before submitting.
A simple arrival-day checklist
Use only the official TDAC address: tdac.immigration.go.th (opens in a new tab)↗. Review the preview carefully, submit the form, and keep the emailed TDAC or a saved copy available during your journey. Families can use a group submission of up to 10 entries, according to the official FAQ. If a correction is needed, use the update function and keep the TDAC number, date of birth, and nationality details required to retrieve the record.
The important distinction
TDAC is one part of arrival preparation. Check your passport validity, entry permission, onward-travel needs, and current airline or immigration instructions separately. Requirements can change, so recheck the official Immigration Bureau page shortly before departure. This guide was reviewed against the official TDAC manual and FAQ on 4 September 2026.
